The International Research Centre for Late Antiquity and Middle Ages has always tried to include students into its activities, both in scientific research, through active participation of students in archaeological excavations, and also by their presence at annual international symposia organised by the Centre.
The activities of the «IRCLAMA» project, financed by the European Commission (FP6) and lead by the International Research Centre for Late Antiquity and Middle Ages, include a course of interdisciplinary educational workshops, in the first place for students of humanities, social, natural and technical sciences (history of art, history, archaeology, ethnology, architecture, sociology, economics, tourism, landscape architecture etc.), but also for individuals employed in cultural and research institutions and business sector.
The workshops will be organized during 2008 and 2009, on two localities (Skradin-Bribir and Bale /Istria/), and each programme will be structured in three workshops, each workshop lasting for 10 days (June 2008, September 2008, June 2009), and the total number of participants will be about 20 per workshop. The application must include the applicant's CV, letter of motivation and list of grades and credits (students). The priority will be given to candidates who intend to take part in the whole programme of three workshops at the same locality.
After having finished each of the workshops the candidate will be given a certificate with 3 ECTS points, and after the whole programme, including the final paper, a certificate with 12 ECTS points.
